It all started with spices…

In 1914, at the age of 23, Kai Erichsen started his activities importing coffee and cocoa beans as well as exotic spices. Business expanded rapidly and the customers also saw an advantage in processing the raw materials themselves. It was therefore natural to enter into the first agency agreements for process machines primarily for the chocolate and confectionery industry. Through his established business connections Kai Erichsen always had his finger on the pulse and was up-to-date with new developments and trends in the market. He soon realised that there would be big possibilities in offering his customers packing of their products by means of new agencies for packaging machines. The company KAI ERICHSEN A/S (Ltd.), which is today owned by the Juul Andersen family, continued the same concept and represents today well-known foreign manufactures of processing and packaging machines for chocolate, confectionery, biscuits, snacks, foods, frozen foods as well as equipment for the chemical an pharmaceutical industry, including filling machines and sack filling plants.

KAI ERICHSEN A/S represents suppliers from various European countries and sells machines and equipment to customers in all of Scandinavia.
